tut team — Privacy Policy

Applies to the tut team staff app (Android and iOS), used by employees of tut. Operated by Pegasus for Clean Transport, Cairo, Egypt. Effective 1 September 2026.

Who this app is for

tut team is an internal staff app. Accounts are created by your employer and you sign in with an employee code and PIN issued to you — there is no self-registration, and the app has no function for anyone who is not an employee.

What we collect

• Identity & work profile — your name, employee code, position, department, work phone and email, and your profile photo.
• Location — at attendance check-in only. When you check in or out, the app takes a single position reading to confirm you are at your work site. It is used for nothing else. The app never collects your location in the background, and never while you are not punching.
• Attendance & scheduling — your check-in and check-out times, shifts, roster and leave balance.
• Requests — leave, loans/advances, custody (including cash floats and the receipts you photograph to settle them), general requests, complaints and resignation.
• Pay & employment records — payslips, salary figures shown to you, deductions, and disciplinary or performance records where they apply to you.
• Documents — files you upload or are asked to read and sign, and your electronic signature on them.
• Messages & voice notes — your conversations with colleagues and the back office, team channels, comments on requests, and any voice notes you record.
• Colleague contact details — the staff directory shows colleagues’ names and work numbers so you can call or message them.
• Technical data — device identifier and push token, used only to deliver notifications to your device and to protect your account.

How we use it

• To run normal employment administration: attendance, scheduling, leave, requests and approvals, payroll and custody settlement.
• To let you and your managers communicate about work.
• To meet legal, tax, labour and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. It is shared only with the providers that run our infrastructure (cloud hosting, push notifications, maps) under contract, and inside your own organisation with the people whose job requires it — your manager, HR and finance.

Retention & deletion

Employment, attendance and financial records are kept for as long as Egyptian labour, tax and accounting law requires, and cannot be deleted on request while that obligation stands. Because accounts are issued and closed by your employer, the app has no self-service account deletion — see the account deletion page for how to ask, and what is removed versus retained.
